So, are intel and TSMC competitors? Because somewhere here i read that TSMC manufactures chips for intel. Is it not like a vertical business?
Intel makes some of its chips and outsources some to TSMC. So Intel is a competitor as well as a customer of TSMC.
Also according to me one thing is that they are competitors but not core competitor because Intel not only manufactured chips they designed that chips which TSMC doesn't. So we can said that one segment of Intel is core competitor of TSMC.
